Service Packages
We have three packages available so that each clients can choose the package that best suits their needs. The labour or time component is based upon a block of time allocated when the Hardware Service Plan is initiated. This block of time is for 10, 20 or 30 hours, reducing rates as shown in the box below. The regular service rate is $110.00 per hour.
Option 1 - Pre-Committed Time Blocks
All labour time used is allocated against the block of hours. When the block of time is consumed (regardless of when) another block of hours is automatically billed. This ensures you only pay for the actual hardware service that you require.
Package includes:
- Telephone and On-site support when required
- Consultation and advice
- Recovery from hardware failure, software failure, operator errors
Time spent in excess of the time allowed within a package would be billed at the Time & Materials rate of $125.00 to $160.00/hr depending on the level of expertise required.
All service parts are billed at current rates, less 10%
You will not be billed for replacing any part purchased from Computer Vision that is covered by a Manufacturer's warranty
Comparable loaner equipment available at current rates, less 10%
All Telephone support is billed in 10 minute intervals.
Option 2 - per workstation per Month
Monthly service agreement is $30.00 per workstation
Package includes:
- Telephone and On-site support when required
- Consultation and advice
- Recovery from hardware failure, software failure, operator errors
- Travel time when doing on-site support
Comparable loaner equipment available at current rates, less 10%
Option 3 - Technical Support On A Time & Materials Basis
This would be for those Clients that have not entered into any monthly service agreement with Computer Vision. All of the above-described services are available. Services are billed as utilized. The rates are as set out below. . These organizations would typically have significant internal technical expertise, already have some other organization providing first line support or they may be organizations where the applications are not critical and can accept the higher risk associated with this level of support. Available on either a Depot Service basis with optional Pickup and Delivery or as on-site Service.
Technical and Software Support Network Consultant $110.00 per hour
Programmer/Analyst $125.00 - $150.00 per hour
Applications Consultant $160.00 per hour
Policies
In the event of a new network installation the associated service package will begin only after the installation is complete and Computer Vision's service has moved from an install function to a support function.
Computer Vision will provide service on either option 1, 2 or 3 dependent on the needs of the Clients
Billable Support to only occur after final installation complete.
Service Blocks (Option 1) will be reduced through the use of Daily Record Sheets that are a description of the work done, the time the call started and ended and an authorized signature from the Clients.
If the Clients is being billed hourly (Option 3) the Daily Service records will be consolidated on a weekly basis for invoicing.
